BUSINESSES

Love the Broads now has around 80 business partners who help us care for the Broads in many different ways. We are always looking to recruit more business partners so that the scheme can grow and the benefits to the Broads can be felt ever more widely.  There is no cost to be involved but there are significant marketing benefits including a website/facebook link, inclusion in social media campaigns and much more.

The businesses below have already signed up to become partners, and more are joining all the time. If you would like to join them please contact us here.

Our existing members are generous and the public acceptance of the scheme has been very rewarding and encouraging. Businesses helping us to raise money for the scheme by adding a small voluntary amount to their charges which is paid by visitors (Opt Out) or by inviting their customers to donate an amount for each booking (Opt In) include:

Posted by on 13 Aug 2020 in Businesses | 0 comments

We are delighted to welcome Helen Williams and the Hungry Otter as one of Love the Broad’s prime business supporters.

The Hungry Otter pop-up café has opened on Salhouse Broad, and sits at the top of a hill overlooking the scenery.  On offer is barista coffee, a variety of teas, cakes, cookies, sandwiches and ice creams.

Founder Helen Williams set up the Cafe after 20 years teaching at the local Paston College.  Helen said “I am thrilled to have an opportunity to help the Broads remain special now and into the future.  My customers visit Salhouse Broad for its fantastic environment, wildlife and leisure and this gives them the opportunity too to put a little back to a place that they love.

A voluntary donation of 10p on the sale of ice creams and cookies is contributed by customers which helps to fund grants for amazing projects on the Broads.
