We are delighted that Love the Broads has provided grants to 54 amazing projects across the Broads National Park over the past 9 years totalling nearly £100,000.
The amounts and numbers of grants we can make from our funds are dependent on the amount of money raised from donations.
Charities and community groups with a suitable project which will benefit the Broads and enhance the experience of the area’s visitors are invited to apply to the Broads Trust as part of our application process.
There are two types of awards: a limited number of projects can be selected to link up with a single business partner, which will raise money specifically for that scheme. But we will also collect most of the donations into a single fund from which we can make small one-off grants available to applicants with suitable projects.
The Broads Trust welcome grant applications at any time of the year. Each application will be discussed at the meeting following the receipt of the application. Meetings are normally held every two months at the end of January, March, May, July, September and November. Decision making will depend, in large measure, on how much money has been donated to the scheme. All of the projects funded are listed on the “Projects we support” page.
