A huge thank you to Herbert Woods for their fantastic latest donation of £1,400 which will help wildlife, conservation and heritage in the Broads National Park. £4,000 donated in total within the past year. Love the Broads is very grateful for your ongoing support.
Love the Broads sends congratulations to Herbert Woods on the launch of the Gleaming Light. A welcome addition to their fantastic fleet of luxury boats.
Love the broads is the Visitor Giving Scheme for the Broads National Park. It aims to inspire people to care for the environment through making a small donation at key tourism sites, through their accommodation provider, or by giving money directly. If every visitor to the Broads National Park gave just £1 we could raise £7 million each year for projects to protect the Broads in the future.
Money is collected by the Broads Trust in a variety of ways and given to projects that will look after the beautiful landscapes and environment of the Broads. With your help, we work alongside local businesses and community groups to improve sustainable practices, and to make sure that the money raised goes to the places that need it most – so that the Broads National Park remains amazing and beautiful to visit. Love the Broads is administered by the Broads Trust, an independent charity with Trustees from local businesses, the Broads Society and the Broads Authority.

What is sustainable tourism?
Sustainable tourism is all about making the lowest possible impact on the environment and local culture while helping to generate income and employment. It is responsible tourism that is both ecologically and culturally sensitive. It is about caring for the places we love to visit and protecting them for future generations. There is no point in having a beautiful landscape if it is spoilt by insensitive tourism. Love the Broads seeks to promote the protection and understanding of our wetland area’s wildlife, landscape, heritage and tourism which are all interlinked.
