A donation of £400 has been received which will help to support the Norfolk Heritage Fleet’s project for an electric engine to be installed on the Lucent. This will enable the elderly and less able to enjoy sailing on the Broads.

What is sustainable tourism?
Sustainable tourism is all about making the lowest possible impact on the environment and local culture while helping to generate income and employment. It is responsible tourism that is both ecologically and culturally sensitive. It is about caring for the places we love to visit and protecting them for future generations. There is no point in having a beautiful landscape if it is spoilt by insensitive tourism. Love the Broads seeks to promote the protection and understanding of our wetland area’s wildlife, landscape, heritage and tourism which are all interlinked.
