We are delighted to have been able to provide a grant towards equipment for an educational facility at the soon-to-reopen Community Pub of the Locks Inn at Geldeston in the Suffolk Broads. This project is part of The Locks Inn Community Pub to offer educational and community facilities at the pub to enable workshops, meetings, conferences and community events in two meeting rooms.
We wish them every success on their re-opening from 13th May. 2021.

What is sustainable tourism?
Sustainable tourism is all about making the lowest possible impact on the environment and local culture while helping to generate income and employment. It is responsible tourism that is both ecologically and culturally sensitive. It is about caring for the places we love to visit and protecting them for future generations. There is no point in having a beautiful landscape if it is spoilt by insensitive tourism. Love the Broads seeks to promote the protection and understanding of our wetland area’s wildlife, landscape, heritage and tourism which are all interlinked.
