The production of a children’s educational history booklet of the Broads to the present day.

Over 3,000 copies of a 20 page booklet will be printed to give to children on school visits to the Norfolk Wherry Trust and to children taking part on Broad Tours’ Discovery trips. It will also be available to download on these organisations’ websites and will be shared with other Wherry organisations on the Broads. The target age is Key stage 2 (7 – 11 years)

The booklet will feature two characters who will take the reader through the history of the Broads right up to current times. This history will include the Norfolk Wherry and the evolution of the tourism industry, including the hire boat industry as it is today. It will include puzzles and activities to enhance learning.
