GET INVOLVED

Broads-based businesses, residents and visitors have a vital role to play in helping the Trust to deliver the scheme.

It costs nothing for a business to be involved but there are significant marketing benefits

There are several ways in which businesses can contribute.

These include:

  • Through sales of special Love the Broads merchandise – badges, booklets and mugs.
  • Asking customers to make a small voluntary addition to their bill for goods or services for sale.
  • Encouraging their customers to make voluntary donations through collecting boxes.
  • By becoming a corporate member of Love the Broads and making an annual donation.
The Trust wants the scheme to grow in popularity, and is actively recruiting businesses within the Broads and its neighbouring areas to join the scheme. The more businesses which become partners within the scheme, the greater the potential pot of money, and the more projects the Trust will be able to support with the funding that you and your customers donate.

If everyone who visits the Broads National Park donated just £1 we could raise £7 million each year for projects to protect the Broads and its future.

If you run a business serving visitors to the Broads, we would love you to give your customers the chance to show they, too, “love the Broads”. Check out which businesses are already part of the scheme.

Guidelines for our business partners
We have produced a helpful booklet of materials for businesses to introduce the scheme in more detail, and these are available online. You will find boxes of pin-badges on the theme of “love the Broads” as well as a beautifully presented guide to the Broads for green travellers.
