Broads-based businesses have a vital role to play in helping the Trust to deliver the scheme.
Individuals can also join to support the scheme.
- Through sales of special Love the Broads merchandise - badges, booklets and mugs.
- Asking customers to make a small voluntary addition to their bill for goods or services for sale.
- Encouraging their customers to make voluntary donations through collecting boxes.
- By becoming a corporate member of Love the Broads and making an annual donation.
If everyone who visits the Broads National Park donated just £1 we could raise £7 million each year for projects to protect the Broads and its future.
If you run a business serving visitors to the Broads, we would love you to join the scheme, and to give your customers the chance to show they, too, “love the Broads”. Check out which businesses are already part of the scheme.
Guidelines for our business partners
We have produced a helpful booklet of materials for businesses to introduce the scheme in more detail, and these are available online. Please click here to download the 'Love the Broads Guidelines for Business' booklet. If you are a business wanting to get involved please see the Business Sign Up Agreement.
Please view our branding guidelines which offers businesses involved guidance on how to use the Love the Broads brand in a consistent way. This is important to ensure the message is being communicated appropriately.
You can make the biggest difference by joining our membership scheme, where, in return for an annual donation of just £15 (families £30), you will receive a copy of our quarterly newsletter, a Love the Broads pin badge and invitations to exclusive members' events, including guides walks and talks around the Broads. click here to send an e-mail to us to let us know of your interest and we will send you full details of how you can become a Member.
You can also of course support the Love the Broads scheme when you are out and about on the Broads by supporting one of our partner businesses. By scanning the businesses page, you can find out which are the businesses who are supporting the scheme, and make your contribution to the scheme every time you make a purchase of goods or services from these suppliers.
Finally you can support the scheme by purchasing badges, mugs and other Love the Broads merchandise at Broads Authority information offices and other locations throughout the Broads.
