We are delighted that Love the Broads has provided grants to some 14 small projects across the Broads National Park over the past 5 years totalling £20,000.

How to apply for funds.
The sizes of our grants and the numbers of grants we can make from Love the Broads funds are dependent on the amount of money raised from donations.

We welcome grant applications for 2017 and these should be received by the end of June 2017.

Charities and community groups with a suitable project which will benefit the Broads and enhance the experience of the area’s visitors are invited to apply to the Broads Trust as part of our application process.

There are two types of awards: a limited number of projects can be selected to link up with a single business partner, which will raise money specifically for that scheme. But we will also collect most of the donations into a single fund from which we can make small one-off grants available to applicants with suitable projects.

14 projects have received a grant since 2013.  The timing of future decision-making meetings on further rounds of grant awards will depend in large measure on how much money is donated to the scheme.

All of the projects funded are listed on the “Projects we support” page, and we expect to have at least one round of applications for funding each year.

If you are thinking of applying to the Trust for a Love the Broads grant, please read carefully through the downloadable information here.

We look forward to receiving applications.  The closing date for next year's grants will be end of June 2016.
