We are delighted to welcome Go Paddle as our newest business supporter. Based in Horning, and sharing space with another business supporter, Horning Pleasurecraft, Go Paddle offers visitors the opportunity to get out on the water safely. They offer paddle board lessons, hire and even fitness classes. Recently accredited they also host children’s birthday parties – how cool is that! What is sustainable tourism?
Sustainable tourism is all about making the lowest possible impact on the environment and local culture while helping to generate income and employment. It is responsible tourism that is both ecologically and culturally sensitive. It is about caring for the places we love to visit and protecting them for future generations. There is no point in having a beautiful landscape if it is spoilt by insensitive tourism. Love the Broads seeks to promote the protection and understanding of our wetland area’s wildlife, landscape, heritage and tourism which are all interlinked.
