Grant provided to enable less able visitors access the Broads by boat at Museum of the Broads

A grant of £1,300 has been awarded to the Museum of the Broads to install an electrical and self-contained 12 volt charging system on  their Marsh Harrier boat.  It will enable the lift to be used without detriment to the normal running of the boat and create access for passengers unable to negotiate the boarding steps and to lower and raise passengers in wheelchairs into and off the boat.

We hope that everyone enjoys their boat trips on the Marsh Harrier.  Another project only made possible by the support of our business partners, their fantastic customers and our Members.
